论海旁旷野的默示:有仇敌从旷野,从可怕之地而来,好像南方的旋风,猛然扫过。
An oracle concerning the Desert by the Sea: Like whirlwinds sweeping through the southland, an invader comes from the desert, from a land of terror.

令人凄惨的异象已默示于我。诡诈的行诡诈,毁灭的行毁灭。以拦哪,你要上去!玛代啊,你要围困!主说:“我使一切叹息止住。”
A dire vision has been shown to me: The traitor betrays, the looter takes loot. Elam, attack! Media, lay siege! I will bring to an end all the groaning she caused.

所以我满腰疼痛,痛苦将我抓住,好像产难的妇人一样;我疼痛甚至不能听,我惊惶甚至不能看。
At this my body is racked with pain, pangs seize me, like those of a woman in labor; I am staggered by what I hear, I am bewildered by what I see.

我心慌张,惊恐威吓我。我所羡慕的黄昏变为我的战兢。
My heart falters, fear makes me tremble; the twilight I longed for has become a horror to me.

他们摆设筵席,派人守望,又吃又喝。首领啊,你们起来,用油抹盾牌。
They set the tables, they spread the rugs, they eat, they drink! Get up, you officers, oil the shields!

主对我如此说:“你去设立守望的,使他将所看见的述说。”
This is what the Lord says to me: "Go, post a lookout and have him report what he sees.

他看见军队,就是骑马的一对一对地来,又看见驴队、骆驼队,就要侧耳细听。
When he sees chariots with teams of horses, riders on donkeys or riders on camels, let him be alert, fully alert."

他像狮子吼叫,说:“主啊,我白日常站在望楼上,整夜立在我守望所。”
And the lookout shouted, "Day after day, my lord, I stand on the watchtower; every night I stay at my post.

看哪,有一队军兵骑着马一对一对地来。他就说:“巴比伦倾倒了,倾倒了!他一切雕刻的神像都打碎于地。”
Look, here comes a man in a chariot with a team of horses. And he gives back the answer: 'Babylon has fallen, has fallen! All the images of its gods lie shattered on the ground!'"

我被打的禾稼,我场上的谷啊,我从万军之耶和华以色列的 神那里所听见的,都告诉你们了。
O my people, crushed on the threshing floor, I tell you what I have heard from the LORD Almighty, from the God of Israel.

论度玛的默示:有人声从西珥呼问我说:“守望的啊,夜里如何?守望的啊,夜里如何?”
An oracle concerning Dumah: Someone calls to me from Seir, "Watchman, what is left of the night? Watchman, what is left of the night?"

守望的说:“早晨将到,黑夜也来。你们若要问就可以问,可以回头再来。”
The watchman replies, "Morning is coming, but also the night. If you would ask, then ask; and come back yet again."

论阿拉伯的默示:底但结伴的客旅啊,你们必在阿拉伯的树林中住宿。
An oracle concerning Arabia: You caravans of Dedanites, who camp in the thickets of Arabia,

提玛地的居民拿水来,送给口渴的,拿饼来迎接逃避的。
bring water for the thirsty; you who live in Tema, bring food for the fugitives.

15
因为他们逃避刀剑和出了鞘的刀,并上了弦的弓与刀兵的重灾。
They flee from the sword, from the drawn sword, from the bent bow and from the heat of battle.

主对我这样说:“一年之内,照雇工的年数,基达的一切荣耀必归于无有;
This is what the Lord says to me: "Within one year, as a servant bound by contract would count it, all the pomp of Kedar will come to an end.

17
弓箭手所余剩的,就是基达人的勇士,必然稀少。因为这是耶和华以色列的 神说的。”
The survivors of the bowmen, the warriors of Kedar, will be few." The LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken.
