The word came to Jeremiah from the LORD after Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard had released him at Ramah. He had found Jeremiah bound in chains among all the captives from Jerusalem and Judah who were being carried into exile to Babylon.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD'S hand double for all her sins.

When the commander of the guard found Jeremiah, he said to him, "The LORD your God decreed this disaster for this place.

In visions of God he took me to the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, on whose south side were some buildings that looked like a city.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.

A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.

耶和华使这祸临到,照他所说的行了,因为你们得罪耶和华,没有听从他的话,所以这事临到你们。
And now the LORD has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because you people sinned against the LORD and did not obey him.

He took me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze; he was standing in the gateway with a linen cord and a measuring rod in his hand.

The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he attended them. After they had been in custody for some time,

Bring in the table and set out what belongs on it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps.

"I am unworthy--how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.

那倚靠耶和华,不理会狂傲和偏向虚假之辈的,这人便为有福。
Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.

一切山洼都要填满,大小山冈都要削平。高高低低的要改为平坦,崎崎岖岖的必成为平原。
Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.

现在我解开你手上的链子,你若看与我同往巴比伦去好,就可以去,我必厚待你;你若看与我同往巴比伦去不好,就不必去。看哪,全地在你面前,你以为哪里美好,哪里合宜,只管上那里去吧。”
But today I am freeing you from the chains on your wrists. Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you; but if you do not want to, then don't come. Look, the whole country lies before you; go wherever you please."

那人对我说:“人子啊,凡我所指示你的,你都要用眼看,用耳听,并要放在心上。我带你到这里来,特为要指示你,凡你所见的,你都要告诉以色列家。”
The man said to me, "Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears and pay attention to everything I am going to show you, for that is why you have been brought here. Tell the house of Israel everything you see."

each of the two men--the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were being held in prison--had a dream the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own.

Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.

And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

耶利米还没有回去,护卫长说:“你可以回到沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利那里去,现在巴比伦王立他作犹大城邑的省长。你可以在他那里住在民中,不然,你看哪里合宜就可以上那里去。”于是护卫长送他粮食和礼物,释放他去了。
However, before Jeremiah turned to go, Nebuzaradan added, "Go back to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the towns of Judah, and live with him among the people, or go anywhere else you please." Then the commander gave him provisions and a present and let him go.

I saw a wall completely surrounding the temple area. The length of the measuring rod in the man's hand was six long cubits, each of which was a cubit and a handbreadth. He measured the wall; it was one measuring rod thick and one rod high.

So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah and stayed with him among the people who were left behind in the land.

Then he went to the gate facing east. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate; it was one rod deep.

So he asked Pharaoh's officials who were in custody with him in his master's house, "Why are your faces so sad today?"

Then I said, "Here I am, I have come--it is written about me in the scroll.

The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass.

When all the army officers and their men who were still in the open country heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam as governor over the land and had put him in charge of the men, women and children who were the poorest in the land and who had not been carried into exile to Babylon,

又有卫房,每房长一竿,宽一竿,相隔五肘。门槛,就是挨着向殿的廊门槛,宽一竿。
The alcoves for the guards were one rod long and one rod wide, and the projecting walls between the alcoves were five cubits thick. And the threshold of the gate next to the portico facing the temple was one rod deep.

他们对他说:“我们各人作了一梦,没有人能解。”约瑟说:“解梦不是出于 神吗?请你们将梦告诉我。”
"We both had dreams," they answered, "but there is no one to interpret them." Then Joseph said to them, "Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams."

又在四围立院帷,把院子的门帘挂上。
Set up the courtyard around it and put the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard.
