They are to wear linen turbans on their heads and linen undergarments around their waists. They must not wear anything that makes them perspire.

谁心里也不醒悟，也没有知识，没有聪明，能说：“我曾拿一份在火中烧了，在炭火上烤过饼，我也烤过肉吃。这剩下的我岂要作可憎的物吗？我岂可向木墩子叩拜呢？”
No one stops to think, no one has the knowledge or understanding to say, "Half of it I used for fuel; I even baked bread over its coals, I roasted meat and I ate. Shall I make a detestable thing from what is left? Shall I bow down to a block of wood?"

妇女说：“我们向天后烧香、浇奠祭，作天后像的饼供奉她，向她浇奠祭，是外乎我们的丈夫吗？”
The women added, "When we burned incense to the Queen of Heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did not our husbands know that we were making cakes like her image and pouring out drink offerings to her?"

他们出到外院的民那里，当脱下供职的衣服，放在圣屋内，穿上别的衣服，免得因圣衣使民成圣。
When they go out into the outer court where the people are, they are to take off the clothes they have been ministering in and are to leave them in the sacred rooms, and put on other clothes, so that they do not consecrate the people by means of their garments.

When the LORD could no longer endure your wicked actions and the detestable things you did, your land became an object of cursing and a desolate waste without inhabitants, as it is today.

They must not marry widows or divorced women; they may marry only virgins of Israelite descent or widows of priests.

Sing for joy, O heavens, for the LORD has done this; shout aloud, O earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, he displays his glory in Israel.

This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You and your wives have shown by your actions what you promised when you said, 'We will certainly carry out the vows we made to burn incense and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven.' "Go ahead then, do what you promised! Keep your vows!
