Then the angel of the LORD moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left.

Do nothing to the girl; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders his neighbor,

"That is why we said, 'Let us get ready and build an altar--but not for burnt offerings or sacrifices.'

The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him--may your hearts live forever!

Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts;

I will hurl you and the mother who gave you birth into another country, where neither of you was born, and there you both will die.

其中的祭司强解我的律法,亵渎我的圣物,不分别圣的和俗的,也不使人分辨洁净的和不洁净的,又遮眼不顾我的安息日,我也在他们中间被亵慢。
Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.

The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh.

But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.

When the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported it. "What are you going to do?" he asked. "This man is a Roman citizen."

because his cloak is the only covering he has for his body. What else will he sleep in? When he cries out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

“才生的公牛,或是绵羊,或是山羊,七天当跟着母;从第八天以后,可以当供物蒙悦纳,作为耶和华的火祭。
"When a calf, a lamb or a goat is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as an offering made to the LORD by fire.

驴看见耶和华的使者就卧在巴兰底下,巴兰发怒用杖打驴。
When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat her with his staff.

for the man found the girl out in the country, and though the betrothed girl screamed, there was no one to rescue her.

乃是为你我中间和你我后人中间作证据,好叫我们也在耶和华面前献燔祭、平安祭,和别的祭侍奉他,免得你们的子孙日后对我们的子孙说:你们与耶和华无份了。’
On the contrary, it is to be a witness between us and you and the generations that follow, that we will worship the LORD at his sanctuary with our burnt offerings, sacrifices and fellowship offerings. Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to ours, 'You have no share in the LORD.'

to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

and say, 'This is what the king says: Put this fellow in prison and give him nothing but bread and water until I return safely.'"

You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,

if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.

You will never come back to the land you long to return to."

Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain.

Finally, the woman died.

For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

The commander went to Paul and asked, "Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?" "Yes, I am," he answered.

"Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.

Do not slaughter a cow or a sheep and its young on the same day.

耶和华叫驴开口,对巴兰说:“我向你行了什么,你竟打我这三次呢?”
Then the LORD opened the donkey's mouth, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?"

If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered,

所以我们说:日后你们对我们,或对我们的后人这样说,我们就可以回答说:你们看我们列祖所筑的坛,是耶和华坛的样式,这并不是为献燔祭,也不是为献别的祭,乃是为作你我中间的证据。
"And we said, 'If they ever say this to us, or to our descendants, we will answer: Look at the replica of the LORD'S altar, which our fathers built, not for burnt offerings and sacrifices, but as a witness between us and you.'

You save the humble, but your eyes are on the haughty to bring them low.

Is this man Jehoiachin a despised, broken pot, an object no one wants? Why will he and his children be hurled out, cast into a land they do not know?

其中的先知为百姓用未泡透的灰抹墙,就是为他们见虚假的异象,用谎诈的占卜,说:‘主耶和华如此说’,其实耶和华没有说。
Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'--when the LORD has not spoken.

Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?"

You are those who have stood by me in my trials.

Then the commander said, "I had to pay a big price for my citizenship." "But I was born a citizen," Paul replied.

"Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats."You must give me the firstborn of your sons.

"When you sacrifice a thank offering to the LORD, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.

巴兰对驴说:“因为你戏弄我,我恨不能手中有刀,把你杀了。”
Balaam answered the donkey, "You have made a fool of me! If I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now."

这男子就要拿五十舍客勒银子给女子的父亲,因他玷污了这女子,就要娶她为妻,终身不可休她。”
he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

我们在耶和华我们 神帐幕前的坛以外,另筑一座坛,为献燔祭、素祭和别的祭;悖逆耶和华,今日转去不跟从他,我们断没有这个意思!”
"Far be it from us to rebel against the LORD and turn away from him today by building an altar for burnt offerings, grain offerings and sacrifices, other than the altar of the LORD our God that stands before his tabernacle."

You are my lamp, O LORD; the LORD turns my darkness into light.
