But the Egyptians are men and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, he who helps will stumble, he who is helped will fall; both will perish together.

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

Consider Assyria, once a cedar in Lebanon, with beautiful branches overshadowing the forest; it towered on high, its top above the thick foliage.

So Jacob sent word to Rachel and Leah to come out to the fields where his flocks were.

And the LORD will do to them what he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, whom he destroyed along with their land.

Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and run me through and abuse me." But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

耶和华对我如此说：狮子和少壮狮子护食咆哮，就是喊许多牧人来攻击它，它总不因他们的声音惊惶，也不因他们的喧哗缩伏。如此，万军之耶和华也必降临在锡安山冈上争战。
This is what the LORD says to me: "As a lion growls, a great lion over his prey--and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against him, he is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor--so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.

I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel. Again you will take up your tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful.

众水使它生长，深水使它长大。所栽之地有江河围流，汊出的水道延到田野诸树。
The waters nourished it, deep springs made it grow tall; their streams flowed all around its base and sent their channels to all the trees of the field.

He said to them, "I see that your father's attitude toward me is not what it was before, but the God of my father has been with me.

to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.

So twelve thousand men armed for battle, a thousand from each tribe, were supplied from the clans of Israel.

The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you.

When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died with him.

谕旨一出，以色列人就把初熟的五谷、新酒、油、蜜和田地的出产多多送来，又把各物的十分之一送来的极多。
As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously gave the firstfruits of their grain, new wine, oil and honey and all that the fields produced. They brought a great amount, a tithe of everything.

lest they drink and forget what the law decrees, and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

雀鸟怎样搧翅覆雏，万军之耶和华也要照样保护耶路撒冷，他必保护拯救，要越门保守。
Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."

Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit.

So it towered higher than all the trees of the field; its boughs increased and its branches grew long, spreading because of abundant waters.

Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given skill to all the craftsmen to make everything I have commanded you:

摩西就打发每支派的一千人去打仗，并打发祭司以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈同去，非尼哈手里拿着圣所的器皿和吹大声的号筒。
Moses sent them into battle, a thousand from each tribe, along with Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, who took with him articles from the sanctuary and the trumpets for signaling.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

So Saul and his three sons and his armor-bearer and all his men died together that same day.

The men of Israel and Judah who lived in the towns of Judah also brought a tithe of their herds and flocks and a tithe of the holy things dedicated to the LORD their God, and they piled them in heaps.

yet your father has cheated me by changing my wages ten times. However, God has not allowed him to harm me.

the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the Testimony with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tent--

They fought against Midian, as the LORD commanded Moses, and killed every man.

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.

When the Israelites along the valley and those across the Jordan saw that the Israelite army had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their towns and fled. And the Philistines came and occupied them.

I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.

让他喝了，就忘记他的贫穷，不再记念他的苦楚。
let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more.
